CW506 Advanced Breakout Board
MSRP:
$120 USD
The CW506 is our "Advanced" breakout board. This board provides voltage translators to make it easier than ever to interface a variety of targets using our standard 20-pin header. It also adds loads of test points, SMA connectors for high-speed signals, DIP switches to enable/disable some of the IO, and connections for use with a standard bench PSU.
Translates the 3.3V output of the ChipWhisperer 20-pin header over a range of 1.5V to 5.5V, allowing you to interface with most embedded targets you'll come across.
This board can be used both to interface the ChipWhisperer 2-Part version to other targets, and to interface external equipment to our target boards such as the CW305 Artix FPGA target.
Features
3.3V I/O for ChipWhisperer Capture.
1.5-5.0V I/O for Target Devices.
Very high-speed clock translators for clock or fault waveform voltage translations.
I/O translators allow usage of UART,SPI, JTAG, and similar protocols.
Versatile 20-Pin Connector
A powerful breakout board for devices using our 20-pin connector standard. Almost all NewAE Technology, Inc. target boards and capture hardware feature this connector, making the breakout board widely applicable to our product line.
Flexible Interfacing
A variety of voltage translators, test points, connectors, and switches make it simple to interface various test equipment and target devices together using the breakout board. Use the breakout board with capture hardware and targets separately or interface together.
Use with ChipWhisperer Capture & Targets
Use the breakout board to interface ChipWhisperer capture hardware to your own targets. Use with capture devices to provide level shifting for interfacing from 1.5V to 5.0V device I/O. Use with targets to interface standard lab gear, such as USB-LVTTL adapters and FPGA boards to our targets.
