I'm using a Minolta Maxxum 7D Digital SLR. It was the last D-SLR Minolta made before Sony purchased that division, essentially it's a predecessor of the Sony Alpha.Fish-Eye Lens
I use the Zenitar Fish-Eye with a Minolta MD mounting. This is a good way to get a fish-eye lens at a much lower cost than "well known" brands. You can find some reviews of the fish-eye lens at for example:- http://www.kenrockwell.com/zenit/zenitar-16mm.htm

Note the default mounting for it is an M42 mount. Some of the lenses just ship with a M42-to-X adaptor, which adds a little extra length. It's better if you can get the 'native' type where the proper mount can be mounted with screws directly onto the lens.

Circular Polarizing Filter
The circular polarizing filter is extremely useful. Purchasing them in stores is very expensive, as the $50-$100 filters I've seen in stores are all of low quality. I ended up finding a "Kenko Pro 1 Digital Wideband Circular PL" filter. Considering the price you can get it for (<$50) it's of a much higher quality.I found them on E-Bay, search for "Kenko Pro Wideband Circular" or similar, and include your lens filter diameter if you don't want to browse. 'japan_camera_parts' seems to sell them amoung others, be sure to search worldwide as they almost always come from Hong Kong.
